Which of the following statements is True/False ?
A. The family was willing to marry Venkatashami to the Dombara girl.
B. Venkatashami came home on his own accord.
Answer: B
The answer is both A and B are false.
A is false: the family would not call the girl to his bedside, since she 'had led him astray', and the writer says it would have been all right only if he had been married to her. So the family was not willing to marry them. B is false: he did not come on his own. A Gowda from a village five miles away 'brought Venkatashami and left him at his parents' house'.
The options that call either statement true therefore do not fit.
