Match the state with what ends it.
1. Ready 2. Blocked 3. Suspended
P. An explicit resume by another task Q. Being selected by the scheduler R. The awaited event or a timeout
Answer: C
Correct answer: 1-Q, 2-R, 3-P
Each state ends in its own way. A ready task waits only for the scheduler to select it. A blocked task waits for the event it asked for, or for its timeout to expire. And a suspended task waits for another task to resume it explicitly - no event or timeout will do it, which is what distinguishes suspension from blocking.
