What happens if a network is built in the anti-causal direction?
Answer: C
Ordering symptoms before diseases produces a correct but densely connected network whose tables are far larger and far harder to elicit. The distribution represented is identical. Construction and inference remain possible but expensive. That correctness and compactness are separate properties, and that only the second depends on the ordering, is worth demonstrating once on a small example.
