Third in the rearranged paragraph is sentence 1.
The paragraph runs 5 – 2 – 1 – 6 – 4 – 3:
- 5 begins the incident: Chandrakanth fell after a sudden sprain.
- 2 follows: trying to get up, he found the leg heavy.
- 1 is the discovery - the leg had lost sensation.
- 6 is his reaction, nervous with this realisation.
- 4 explains why the call failed - it was late and nobody heard.
- 3 closes with him lying there until he saw a light.
This realisation in 6 points back to 1, and 4 only makes sense once he has called out.
