- 1 supports it - such fightings refers back to 3.
- 2 traces the change in weapons, from primitive to nuclear.
- 4 describes modern war and notes the effect is unchanged.
- 5 closes with the summary: the only difference is the efficiency of the instruments.
Such fightings in 1 fixes it immediately after 3, and 5 gathers up the point made by 2 and 4.
