SPIN is the online platform launched by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in 2019 to simplify and speed up the approval, installation and subsidy release for rooftop solar photovoltaic projects under the rooftop solar programme. Applications, inspections and payments are tracked online, which cuts delays.
