What is Crowd-funded Journalism ?
Answer: A
Crowd-funded journalism is where journalists propose projects online to people who then contribute to those they deem worthy.
A journalist or a small newsroom describes a story or investigation on a platform such as Kickstarter or a dedicated site, and members of the public pledge money to the projects they want to see done. The funding comes from many small contributors rather than from advertisers or a single owner.
Non-professionals running a daily describes citizen journalism, and readers helping to lay out pages describes participation in production, not funding. The direction of the last option is reversed: in crowdfunding it is the journalist who proposes and the public who pays.
