Why is it important for reporters to talk to sources ?
Answer: D
Reporters talk to sources because sources give a story balance by offering different perspectives.
Sources are the people and documents that supply a reporter's facts, quotations and viewpoints. Talking to several of them, including those on different sides of an issue, lets the reporter verify claims, add expertise and present the competing views fairly.
Sources do not publish a reporter's story; the newspaper does. Editing and revising copy is the work of sub-editors and editors, not sources. The option 'Sources by newspapers' is incomplete and gives no reason at all.
