In journalism, what do you understand by ‘junkets’ ?
Answer: A
In journalism, junkets are free sponsored trips.
A junket is a trip for journalists paid for by a company, government, film studio or other organisation that wants coverage: travel, hotels and hospitality are provided free, often with a product launch or tour attached. Codes of journalistic ethics warn against accepting them because they create a sense of obligation and can compromise independence.
Fake news is deliberately false information, killing a story means dropping it before publication, and negative feedback is criticism from readers. None of these is a junket.
