Which contains pertinent materials that are not important enough to be included in the main body of report but which may be of value to some readers ?
Answer: B
Such material goes in the appendix.
An appendix at the end of a report holds pertinent but supplementary material, such as questionnaires, detailed tables, calculations or documents, which would interrupt the main text but may be of value to some readers.
A footnote gives a source or a brief clarification at the foot of the page. A bibliography lists the works consulted or cited. A preface comes before the main text and introduces the report and its background. None of them is the place for supporting material of this kind.
