2. Modal peaks are combined statistically rather than added.
3. The method gives the time at which the peak occurs.
Which of the statements are correct?

The first two describe the method exactly. The third is its principal limitation: the analysis yields peak magnitudes with no information about when they occur or about signs, which is why combining results needs care.
