Which Article of Indian Constitution abolish untouchability ?
Answer: C
Untouchability is abolished by Article 17.
Article 17 abolishes untouchability, forbids its practice in any form, and makes enforcing any disability arising from it an offence punishable by law. The Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 gives effect to it.
Article 14 guarantees equality before the law, Article 15 prohibits discrimination on grounds such as religion, caste and sex, and Article 19 protects six freedoms such as speech and movement. None of them abolishes untouchability.
