Satellite data stores pixel information band by band for each line, or row, of the image is .......... data format.
Answer: A
The format is BIL, band interleaved by line.
In BIL, the file stores line 1 of band 1, then line 1 of band 2 and so on for all bands, then line 2 of each band, which is storing pixel information band by band for each line.
The other formats differ. BSQ (band sequential) stores each whole band as a separate image, one after another. BIP (band interleaved by pixel) stores all the band values of one pixel together before the next pixel. BQR is not a standard format.
