Which is the first satellite of India to be launched to study the Sun?
Answer: D
Aditya-L1 is the first Indian satellite launched to study the Sun. It is placed in a halo orbit around the first Lagrange point (L1) of the Sun-Earth system, from where it can watch the Sun continuously. The other options, Aditya-S1, P1 and K1, are not names used for the mission, and L1 in the name stands for the Lagrange point. So the answer is Aditya-L1.
