a. I helped the polio vaccine for the children.
b. I would give a lump of sugar to each child.
c. The health assistant would squeeze a drop of the solution into each lump.
d. Then I checked if the children had all swallowed.
Answer: D
a and d are incorrect.
Sentence a says the speaker helped the vaccine, which is not what a person does to a vaccine - the verb wanted is administered or gave. The fault in d is of the same kind.
