Sentences of a paragraph are given below in jumbled order: Arrange the sentences in the correct order to form a meaningful and coherent paragraph. A. It weighs half a gram when born, and crawls into its mama's pouch and feeds on milk. B. At the age of 6 months, he/she starts eating excreted pulpy eucalyptus leaves called pap prepared by their mother. C. The new born koala bear is called a joey. D. Koala bears stay pregnant for 30-35 days.
Answer: C
The correct order is DCAB. D comes first because it states the general fact that koalas are pregnant for 30-35 days. C follows by naming the newborn a joey. A then describes the joey at birth: half a gram, crawling into the pouch and feeding on milk. B closes the sequence with what happens at 6 months, when the joey begins to eat pap.
DBAC and ABDC put the six-month stage before the birth details, and ACDB puts the birth weight before the pregnancy that precedes it.
