Consider the following statements about chaining functions directly.
1. There is no single place holding the state of the overall workflow.
2. A failure midway leaves the process in an unclear condition.
3. Direct chaining is the recommended pattern for long workflows.
Answer: A
The first two are correct and are the reasons orchestration services exist. The third is the practice those services were created to replace, and it becomes unmanageable beyond two or three steps. An orchestrator also gives a single place to see where a workflow actually stopped.
