The following law does not have provisions for settlement of property, joint or separate of the spouses :
Answer: B
The law without such provisions is the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 deals with property in Section 27, which lets the court make provision in the decree about property presented at or about the time of marriage that belongs jointly to husband and wife. The Parsi Marriage and Divorce Act, 1936 has the matching Section 42 for such presented property, and Section 50 lets the court order part of a wife's property to be settled for the benefit of the children. Chapter VI of the Special Marriage Act (as printed on a reference site for the Act) covers alimony, custody and appeals, and I found no section on settling or disposing of the spouses' property.
So Hindu and Parsi law each carry a property provision, which rules out the first and third options, and 'None of the above' fails because the Special Marriage Act has none. I confirmed the Hindu and Parsi sections from reported judgments and statute pages; the absence from the Special Marriage Act rests on reading its sections from 37 to 42 and could not be checked against the official text, so the key is kept on that basis.
