In which sport did Bhavinaben Patel create history by winning India's first silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics in August 2021?
Answer: A
Bhavinaben Patel won India's first silver medal in the Tokyo Paralympics, held in August 2021, in table tennis, in the women's singles class 4 event. She lost the final to Zhou Ying of China and became the first Indian table tennis player to win a Paralympic medal.
Shooting, archery and badminton also produced Indian Paralympic medals at Tokyo, but not this first silver medal. Badminton was on the Paralympic programme for the first time in 2020, and the medals there came later in the Games.
