(3) The mascot for the 38th National Games was Mauli, inspired by the Himalayan Monal.

Only statements (2) and (3) are correct, so the answer is (2) and (3) only.
The 38th National Games were held in Uttarakhand from 28 January to 14 February 2025, so statement (1), which says Patna, is wrong. Statement (2) is right: Meghalaya was named host of the 39th National Games, due in 2027. Statement (3) is right: the mascot was Mauli, named for the Himalayan monal, Uttarakhand's state bird. Statement (4) is wrong because the Services team topped the medal table; Maharashtra was second and Haryana third.
Option B uses the wrong venue, option C leans on the Haryana claim, and option D pairs the wrong venue with the mascot. Only (2) and (3) survive.
