What is the smallest number by which 3600 be divided to make it a perfect cube?
Answer: A
Factorise and see which primes have exponents that are not multiples of 3.
\[ 3600 = 2^{4} \times 3^{2} \times 5^{2} \]
Dividing by \( 2 \times 3^{2} \times 5^{2} = 450 \) leaves
\[ \frac{3600}{450} = 8 = 2^{3} \]
a perfect cube. So the smallest divisor is 450.
