AMRUT is related with Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation.
AMRUT stands for the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, launched by the Government of India in June 2015. It aims to provide basic urban infrastructure in selected cities and towns: water supply, sewerage and septage management, storm-water drainage, urban transport and green spaces. AMRUT 2.0, launched in 2021, extended it with the goal of water-secure cities.
