The State in India which launched India's First Village Atlas is _____?
Answer: C
The State is Goa.
The Mayem Biodiversity Atlas was released by Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant in August 2023, and the Goa Government described it as India's first village atlas. The state also said it planned a biodiversity atlas for each of its 191 village panchayats.
Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka have village-level mapping and biodiversity registers, but none of them launched an atlas described as the first of its kind in the country.
