The budget was presented by Shri Jishnu Debbarma.
After the BJP-IPFT government took office in March 2018, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma (spelt 'Jishnu Debbarma' in the paper) held the Finance portfolio and presented the state's budget for 2018-19 in the Tripura Legislative Assembly.
Biplab Kumar Deb was the Chief Minister, N.C. Debbarma was a minister from the IPFT, and Ratan Lal Nath held other portfolios. None of them held Finance.
