After the consecration of the Ram temple at Ayodhya in January 2024, Indian Railways ran 'Aastha Special' trains to carry pilgrims from across the country to Ram Lalla. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha flagged off such trains for pilgrims from the state.
Bharat Gaurav trains are themed tourist circuits, the Maharaja Express is a luxury tourist train, and Vande Bharat trains are regular semi-high-speed services, so none of them is the pilgrim special.
