When was the Tribal Research and Development Institute established in Madhya Pradesh?
Answer: D
The institute was established in 1954.
The Madhya Pradesh Tribal Research and Development Institute was set up on 20 April 1954, with its first headquarters in Chhindwara, and was moved to Bhopal later. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs' list of tribal research institutes also gives 1954 for the Madhya Pradesh institute. In 1954 the Government of India asked several states to set up such institutes under a centrally sponsored scheme.
1951, 1953 and 1956 are not the founding year, and the institute's Bhopal location came after its founding at Chhindwara.
