Consider the following statements :
1. Kozhikode is the first city in India to be designated a 'City of Literature' by UNESCO under its Creative Cities Network.
2. The UNESCO Creative Cities Network supports the Sustainable Development Goal 11.
Which of the above statements is/are incorrect ?
Answer: D
Both statements are correct, so none is incorrect: Neither 1 nor 2.
In October 2023 UNESCO designated Kozhikode in Kerala a 'City of Literature', the first Indian city with that title in its Creative Cities Network (Gwalior was named a City of Music at the same time).
The Creative Cities Network promotes culture and creativity as drivers of sustainable urban development, and UNESCO explicitly links it to Sustainable Development Goal 11, sustainable cities and communities. Since the question asks for the incorrect statements, the answer is neither.
