Discussion
Statement: Should 'computer knowledge' be made a compulsory subject for all the students at secondary school level?
Arguments:
1, No, our need is 'bread' for everyone, we cannot follow western models.
2. Yes. We cannot compete in the international market without equipping our children with computers.
Answer: B
Correct answer: Only argument II is strong
Argument 2 gives a substantial reason: a country whose young people cannot use a computer will be left behind in work that now depends on it. Argument 1 sets food against education as though a country could not attend to both. Only II is strong.
