Which conclusion would follow on the basis of given statement ?
Statement : The manager humiliated Mukesh in the presence of his colleagues.
Conclusions : I. The manager did not like Mukesh.
II. Mukesh was not popular with his colleagues.
In the light of the above statements, choose the most appropriate answer from the options given below.
Answer: C
Neither I nor II follows.
The statement only says that the manager humiliated Mukesh in front of his colleagues. It gives no reason for this.
Conclusion I assumes the manager disliked Mukesh, but he may have been angry about a mistake or simply be harsh by nature. Conclusion II assumes Mukesh was unpopular, but the colleagues were only present; nothing is said about what they think of him. Both go beyond what the statement says, so neither follows.
