What will be the output of the following C code?
#include <stdio.h>
enum colour
{
blue, red, yellow
};
main()
{
enum colour c;
c=yellow;
printf("%d",c);
}
Answer: B
Correct answer: 2
Enumerators are numbered from 0 in order unless given explicit values, so blue is 0, red 1 and yellow 2. An enum variable is an integer, so %d prints the number, not the name.
