Answer: A
The 2025 SCO Summit was held in Tianjin, China.
China held the SCO chair for 2024-25, and the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State took place in the port city of Tianjin on 31 August and 1 September 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended, his first visit to China in several years, and the summit adopted the Tianjin Declaration.
Beijing is China's capital but was not the venue. Tokyo and Seoul are capitals of Japan and South Korea, neither of which is a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
