When were Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) adopted by the United Nations ?
Answer: C
The MDGs were adopted in 2000.
The eight Millennium Development Goals came out of the United Nations Millennium Declaration, adopted at the Millennium Summit in September 2000, with targets to be reached by 2015.
1990 was the baseline year for many MDG targets, not the year of adoption, and the goals were replaced in 2015 by the Sustainable Development Goals.
