Which of the following is systematic error while administering psychomotor test ?
Answer: D
The systematic error is faulty equipment.
A systematic error is a consistent bias that pushes every measurement the same way, so repeated testing does not average it out. A stopwatch that runs slow, a mis-calibrated dynamometer or a wrongly marked tape will distort every score in the same direction.
A subject's emotional state, an inappropriate warm-up and the order of tests vary from person to person and occasion to occasion, so they produce random errors, which raise or lower individual scores unpredictably.
