State whether the following is true or false.
A flash set can be overcome by remixing in the same way as a false set.
Answer: B
Flash set involves genuine hydration of the aluminate phase and cannot be reversed by mixing. Only false set, which is a physical stiffening from recrystallised gypsum, responds to further working. The remedy for one is useless against the other.
