The weave used for Turkish towels is :
Answer: B
Turkish towels use an uncut pile weave.
Turkish (terry) towelling is a pile fabric in which extra warp yarns are woven in slack and form loops on one or both faces. The loops are left uncut, which gives a large surface area for absorbing water.
In a cut pile the loops are cut to stand as tufts, as in velvet and corduroy, which would not suit a towel. Jacquard is a loom attachment for complex figured patterns, and lappet is an extra-warp figure weave; neither forms the looped pile of a towel.
