Statement I: Increasing fan speed always improves the quality of the grain sample.
Statement II: A stronger blast carries more of the light fraction out of the machine.
In the light of the above statements, choose the correct answer.
Answer: C
The reason is right, but past a point the blast carries sound grain out as well and blown loss climbs. The sample looks cleaner while the yield quietly falls, which is why the loss must be measured rather than judged by eye.
