Mohan can finish a job in 60 days whereas Ram can finish the same job in 20 days. If they work together the job will be over in?
Answer: A
Working together, they finish the job in 15 days.
In one day Mohan does \(\frac{1}{60}\) of the job and Ram \(\frac{1}{20}\):
\[ \frac{1}{60} + \frac{1}{20} = \frac{4}{60} = \frac{1}{15} \]
So together they do one fifteenth of the job each day and finish in 15 days.
Together they must be faster than Ram alone, so any answer above 20 days is impossible: 30 and 40 days, and 80 days (the two times added), are all wrong.
