Which of the following is WRONG for an ideal transformer?
Answer: D
The statement that is wrong for an ideal transformer is that the permeability of the core is zero. An ideal transformer has a core of infinite permeability, so that no magnetising current is needed and all the flux links both windings.
The other statements are right for an ideal transformer: the windings have no ohmic resistance, there is no magnetic leakage, and the efficiency is 100 %. So the fourth option is the answer.
