From Delhi, Gandhinagar is south-west and Patna is south-east.
Delhi lies at about 28.6° N, 77.2° E. Gandhinagar (about 23.2° N, 72.6° E) is further south and further west, so it is to the south-west. Patna (about 25.6° N, 85.1° E) is further south and further east, so it is to the south-east.
A glance at the map confirms it: Gujarat is on the west coast below Rajasthan, and Bihar is in the east, below Nepal. The other options put one or both cities to the north of Delhi or swap east and west.
