With respect to Telangana the respective locations of Gujarat and Bihar are :

Gujarat lies to the north-west and Bihar to the north-east of Telangana.
Telangana is in the south-central Deccan. Gujarat is on India's western coast and lies north of Telangana's latitude, so it is north-west. Bihar is in the east of the Gangetic plain, further north, so it is north-east.
Options that place Bihar to the south-east or Gujarat to the south-west or north-east reverse one of these directions.
