The value of \(9 \sec^2 A - 9 \tan^2 A\) is:
Answer: B
Take out the common factor and use the identity.
\[ 9(\sec^{2}A - \tan^{2}A) = 9 \times 1 = 9 \]
The identity \( \sec^{2}A - \tan^{2}A = 1 \) comes from dividing \( \sin^{2}A + \cos^{2}A = 1 \) through by \( \cos^{2}A \).
