Matching and non-matching grants to public libraries in India are given by :
Answer: B
The grants are given by the RRRLF, the Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation.
The Foundation, set up in 1972 by the Government of India's Department of Culture and based in Kolkata, supports public libraries through two kinds of schemes: matching schemes, in which the state government contributes a share, and non-matching schemes, funded by the Foundation alone, such as book assistance to libraries.
The ILA (Indian Library Association) and IASLIC (Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres) are professional associations and do not fund public libraries. A public library association (PLA) is likewise a professional body, not a grant-giving agency.
