Which supply fault mimics a module that has failed entirely?
Answer: B
A silent module is far more often unpowered than broken. The last option names both supply faults explicitly, which makes it a correct and fuller version of the same answer, and both are checked before anything is condemned. Reading the definition literally, rather than recalling a summary, avoids the usual confusion. Naming the cost of a choice alongside its benefit is what turns a fact into a design decision. The shared behaviour explains why these belong together and the differences explain why both exist.
