Reason (R): Hardware virtualisation extensions have removed most of the performance penalty of full virtualisation.
Answer: A
Both are true and the reason gives the cause, and paravirtualised drivers for storage and network remain common even where the processor no longer needs help. Hardware support changed the balance. The old advantage has largely gone.
