As per Lev Vygotsky, ____________ plays a significant role in the development of conceptual abilities among children.
Answer: B
According to Vygotsky, peer collaboration plays a significant role.
In Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, conceptual development happens through social interaction. Working with peers, particularly more capable ones, lets children solve problems within their zone of proximal development, discuss ideas and internalise new ways of thinking.
Social isolation is the opposite of what Vygotsky stressed. Tangible rewards belong to behaviourism, and a standardised curriculum has no particular place in his theory.
