Rama plays cricket with his friends every evening. Which energy does he use to play cricket ?

Rama uses muscular energy.
Playing cricket, running, batting, bowling and fielding, is done by the contraction of muscles. In the simple classification of energy used in primary EVS, the energy we use for such physical work is muscular energy. It comes ultimately from the food we eat.
Light and sound energy are not what powers the body's movement. Chemical energy is stored in food and released in the body, but the energy he directly uses to play is muscular energy, which is the textbook answer.
