Why is only one reflector normally used in a Yagi?
Answer: D
The first reflector already reduces the rearward field substantially, so a second one sits in a weak field and is excited only feebly, contributing very little. Directors, by contrast, sit in the strong forward field and continue to add gain for many elements. Some designs do use a reflector screen or a pair of rods for extra front to back ratio. Where an element sits relative to the field it is meant to modify decides how much good it can do.
