Bank of Maharastra PO Exam Pattern, Eligibility
144 topics across 6 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
Bank of Maharashtra does not run a PO exam of its own. Its own recruitment page says current government guidelines send Probationary Officer and clerk hiring through IBPS only, while specialist officers may be hired by IBPS or by the bank directly. So a PO aspirant applies to the IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI process (notified 1 July 2026, for 2027-28 vacancies).
Bank of Maharashtra reported 1,100 indicative posts as on 27 August 2026, the third highest after Bank of Baroda (1,900) and Canara Bank (1,500).

Eleven banks take part, and the final allotment follows actual vacancies, rank and the preferences you give. The bank's Generalist Officer (Scale II) and specialist projects are its own recruitments and are separate from this one.
