BPSC LDC Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility
180 topics across 6 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
BPSC hires Lower Division Clerks for its own office at 15 Nehru Path, Patna. It's a small recruitment: Advertisement 43/2025 is for 26 posts, open to anyone with Intermediate (Class 12) who can type in Hindi on a computer.
The 2025 cycle skipped the Preliminary and went straight to an objective Mains on 20 September 2025. A typing and computer test followed on 17 and 18 January 2026, and 29 candidates were called for document verification. Then on 21 August 2026 BPSC cancelled the typing test and the verification for technical reasons. A fresh typing test is due; no date had been given by mid-October 2026.
Before this, BPSC filled the post under Advertisement 04/2021, with the Mains in November 2022 and the typing test in July 2023.
