DSSSB Non Teaching Exam Pattern, Important Dates
180 topics across 6 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
DSSSB does not hold a single "non-teaching" exam. The phrase covers every post it fills other than teachers: clerks, MTS, warders, technicians, engineers, drivers and so on, for Delhi government departments, local bodies and the Delhi courts. Each post gets its own post code, eligibility and test.
Several are open or under way in late 2026:

DSSSB Non Teaching Details
Exam Pattern
Most non-teaching posts use one of three DSSSB papers:
- One tier general: 200 MCQs in 2 hours on General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi and English, 40 each.
- One tier technical: the same five subjects for 100 marks, plus 100 marks on the post's own subject.
- Two tier: a qualifying Tier-I and a Tier-II that decides merit, used for higher posts.
Each advertisement says which scheme applies to each post code. Some posts add a typing, skill or physical test.
How to Apply
Register once on the OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in, then apply separately for each post code. The fee is ₹100 per application, waived for women, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen.
Important Dates
DSSSB has no fixed annual calendar for these posts. In 2026 it issued advertisements on 20 February, 25 February, 29 May, 30 September and 9 October. Exam dates come in batch schedules on the notice of exam page, usually a month or more ahead.
